Roof Replacement - GAF vs Oakridge

My 29 year old roof needs to be replaced so I started to talk to roofers who all seem to use GAF. The local roofer who has done a tremendous number of houses in the area uses Oakridge w/ a 50 year warranty. They seem to be comparable but honestly, I've never heard of them. I am getting a mix of replies on the 30 vs 40 vs lifetime warranty. Some say the shingle has different thickness while another says it's BS and they are all the same minus the warranty. Any particular pros/cons I should research? I am looking at $30K for a roof replacement in North Jersey.

Oakridge is an Owens-Corning product.

Ahh. Yes. That's correct.

One of the major roofers in town uses Oakridge "Duration" and it's another $2K vs. the Oakridge Shingle. Trying to understand these differences or is it mostly the same stuff.
