newly installed gutter pvc elbow is leaking

leaking at the elbow joint to horizontal pipe just above the pail. Note the horizontal pipe slopes down, so probably not a perfect fit. any way to reliably fix this without starting over? What is the easiest fix?

I see the primer (they make clear primer for jobs like this). Double check to see if the joint is glued. Hopefully you forgot and all you have to do is glue it. If it's glued you can wait for it to dry and paint a thick bead of glue around the outside of the joint seam. Or, don't worry about it. It's a downspout. It should not leak a lot and won't be the end of the world.

I see water drops on the adaptor, looks like it's raining, sure it's leaking or just water flowing down the pipe?
Once glued pretty much impossible to repair, a good practice is to add glue to both sides of a joint!
