I am going to build an entry shed, but I'm confused on tying the roof into the wall, especially the peak of the roof. Sorry about the lack of info, what I need to know is doing the flashing along the roof and wall how would I do the peak? [Edited by jpi2 on 10-12-01 at 02:42]

I currently have a home with a shingle roof and am considering replacing it with a metal roof in the near future. I would like some information on how to choose the metal roofing material and also, how I would install it. Can you recommend a book on installation? Part of the consideration is that I have a roofed porch that was added on and has developed black spots on the underside of the roof and I have been told it is because the angle of the roof on the porch is not steep enough for shingles. The house is 14yrs old and will need a new roof soon anyway. Ideas? Thanks, dwiemer
