Angry Roof Leak

Today was a warm day, a little above freezing. My wife called me to our bathroom in our house that we just moved into a week ago. Water was dripping from our exhaust fan. I found a real little pool in the ducting. I suspect this is frost melting due to the warmth outside right? Anyway, I looked into the attic to see what I could see. There was no moisture around the exhaust ducting or outlet, BUT there was a small rivulet of water running down one of the beams. I could see its source a spot in the middle of the roof, no flashing or anything. The roof was apparently done about 5 years ago. Why would I get a little leak in the middle of the roof? A misplaced nail or something?

Cool

A roof leak could be caused by almost anything.
Just patch the leak with a little black platsic roofing cement under (or over , if necessary) the shingle where it is leaking.
Good Luck!
Mike
