insulated roofover

I have a manufactured home with cathedral ceilings, there is no room for adding insulation between rafters and roof, My shingles need to be replaced this spring, so my thought is to build up the roof and insulate between both layers, wanted to know what materials are available and how much it will cost me since I will be paying cash for all of it

You should also be thinking about ventilation. On a cathedral you should try to have 1 to 2 inches of air space between your insulation and your roof sheathing. It sounds like you had no ventilation before and most shingle manufacturers will not give you a warranty without proper ventilation. To balance out the vent system its a good thing to install ridge vent and a continuous soffit vent.
