carpet squares
I am installing commercial carpet squares in my living and dining room. I am planning on removing the tack strips that are currently holding the old carpet down. Is this a good idea or should I lay the carpet squares down over it? Also, hubby would like to have the phone and cable placed below the carpet squares while routing them over to where we want them. Then we would not have them running across the floor in plain sight. I think we would be better off running them between tiles. what do you think?
