removing paint from carpet
What's the best method for removing interior paint from carpet?
I wasn't careful enough while painting and got some paint on my shoes that then got tracked on the carpet.
I mostly use Behr paint.

I need the same help... I am about to cry.. I have been working so hard to paint my sons toyroom (it has taking me three weeks to do a mural). This is my first paint project and with three little boys they have been trying to help
. I think I have every type of Behr product spulled or dripped on the carpet. PLEASE HELP.

I just finished a couple of painting projects (I'll never do that again), and googling around, I found one "recipe" that worked like a charm to get the paint out of my carpet, which was quite a bit ;-)
Mix:
1 Tablespoon dish detergent
1.5 Tablespoons vinegar
1 Quart (32 oz.) of warm-hot water
Gently mix up this stuff, and I kinda scraped the foam off the top so more foam than needed wouldn't get on the carpet. Blot enough of the mix until the spot is kind saturated, and then just keep blotting with a sponge. It won't look like much is coming up, but when you take a rag and blot it some more (don't rub), it'll come up (or at least it did for me).
I had dark brown interior paint on light blue carpet, and right after I used the rag to pull it up, I didn't see anymore brown!!
Hope this helps.
