Repairing Glue down carpet

The carpet has been down a long time and has been steam cleaned alot. How do you get rid of those bubbles in the carpet where the glue has dissolved?

That isn't the glue releasing, it is the primary backing releasing from the secondary backing. It had traffic while it was still wet.

You may get by with a hypo needle, and some adhesive.

The only problem with that is, you have to water down the adhesive to get it through the needle. This makes the adhesive more likely to wick through the face of the carpet, because your only injecting under the thin primary backing.
