Spilled paint on carpet
I have a bit of a problem. My wife spilled paint on our carpet when painting the hall. A lot in one general spot. I cleaned up what I could but figured it was a hopeless cause. Its been a month and am ready to fix it now. I figured I would wait till she was finsihed. yes, I should have told her to cover the carpet before painting. Problem, is she gets a little lazy about moving things around like the cover. But she did a wonderful job. Ok. So is there anything I can do short of replacing the area. If not, then is there instructions on how to do it?
thanks,
Tom

A bonded insert taken from a closet is best. That is no place to learn how to seam carpet together. It can be tuff for even the seasoned professional, to make it look undetected. Especially in a traffic area like a hallway is.
