Pulling up indoor/outdoor carpet

I am trying to help my next door neighbor, and I need to know how to pull up the carpet she has on her front porch, it has a bunch of wholes in it and needs to be pulled up bad. Could someone please help me!!!!!

senselesshelper, Welcome to the DIY Forums.
A lot depends on what the surface under the carpet is and how it is attached. It may be glued to concrete or stapled to wood. A little more info is needed here. Thanks.

I have it on my concrete front porch and it just look's awful Mine is glued down what would be an easy way of getting that stuff off my porch?

Carpet can be cut into strips and removed with heat gun and scraper.

A 4" wide razor scraper. Cut the indoor/out door into strips. Get under one of your cuts with the scraper, and while someone pulls, the other scrapes. Works great.
