Spilled red icee
My grandaughter spilled a red icee (slushy) on tan carpet. Can anyone suggest how to get the "red" out?

Blot as much of the excess up as possible. Blot, do not rub fibers. Do not walk on the area. The spill not only went downward but outward 3-5 times the surface area. Keep damp with plain water. Do not let dry. Call a carpet professional immediately. The pros have the proper equipment and chemicals to remove the red dye stain while still fresh.
