About 1 year ago, we had a berber type carpet installed and the seams all had a hump over the seaming tape. We had the installers come back about a month after installation and they said there was nothing they could do about it and that in time it would go away as we walked on it. Well it hasn't and they are coming out again. What can I do and is this typical of a berber style carpet which is about 3/4" thick??? Thanks for any help.:) :) :)

I have recently installed a lot of new carpet in my house. There are little fluff balls on the carpet, which I read is normal for new carpets and should go away after cleaning 2-3 times. I bought a new vacuum, Hoover, and started vacuuming. The vaccum kept getting clogged up. It is almost impossible to keep vacuuming. Every 5 seconds I need to bent over and manually pull the fluff out of the hose. And the vacuuming action creates bigger fluff balls. I ended up with a bigger mess after vacuuming. I have vacuumed about 3 times and all I see is more and more fluff balls. I don't know if my carpet is no good, or my vacuum is no good, or all is normal (hard to believe though). Any advice is highly appreciated.
