Question

Moved into home six months ago. Carpet looked new when we bought home, but there was no furniture on a lot of it......since we've moved in, and moved around some heavy furniture, there are large buckles in the carpet. What do I do to repair the problem?

thanks!

Cool buckled carpet

Rent a Powerstretcher and start in the middle of the house and work to the corners. You may have to cut and reseam if stretching pulls doorways out. Pull the carpet loose from the tackstrip along the wall you are stretching too, then restretch it and let it go up the wall, as you push down along the tackstrip, let up on the powerstretcher handle. Be careful because you can pull it all out of wack, and pull seams apart if your not careful.

Good luck,
