Carpet Tack Strip with water

We had some water get onto out in the basement an onto the tack strips.
I looked and don't see spores or whit material.

Does this lookalike just darkened wood from the water laying on it or black mold?

thanks

If it's perfectly dry I'd say no problem. It looks like just stained wood. You could wash it with a bleach solution if you have any doubts.

It is just stained wood. Unless it is rotten, reuse it.

thanks,,,

nails are still sharp and bent,

except for the one small 4 inch one is kind of loose.
as a safeguard, was thinking of applying Concrobium Mold Control https://www.concrobium.com/products/mold-control-spray/
or RMR https://www.lowes.com/pd/RMR-Brands-...2oz/5001527523

As long as the source of the water or dampness has been eliminated you have no worries.
