Question

THIS IS MY PROBLEM A LADY FRIEND OF MINE IS A PAINTER

CLEAN IT STARTING WITH WATER, THEN BLEACH, THEN SHE TRIED
TO DYE IT BACK TO IT'S ORIGINAL COLOR. ( CREAM ) IT NOW
HAS A PINKISH TINT IN SOME SPOTS. THE HOLE AREA IS
ABOUT A 2FOOT SECTION. IT IS IN A MAJOR SPOT AND CAN
BE SEEN EASILY. DO I REPLACE ALL 350 SQ.f OR CAN I REPLACE
THE 2 FOOT SECTION. IF SO HOW ? I HAVE NOT EVER DONE THIS BEFORE AND IF I CAN DO THIS RIGHT THERE WILL ALOT MORE

Patching can be done. However, it does take experience and skill to do a patch so it won't be detected. If you have never done it before, or even put a seam together in a carpet with an iron and hot melt tape, I wouldn't start by doing a patch.
