lighter fluid

Brake fluid does suck up moisture and should be replaced every few years. This will extend the service life of all you brake system components.

Yes lighter fluid works or if you want also WD-40 is a option if the thing is made of paper. Let it soak a bit and the glue will get soft. Then you can use lighter fluid to clean off the WD.
