Update: The "velocity" noise has disappeared since I last posted which was about 2 days ago. Very weird. Maybe it was air? Maybe I didn't purge it correctly?

I had 3 pumps and 3 zone valves on my previous installation and it was a whisper quiet system until the flood destroyed all that. It's for 3 separate apartment units.
