Is it possible that a clogged overflowing rain gutter could enable water to get behind my color coat, making that finish coat flake off the wall in big chunks?

removing stucco overspray from granite rocks

My stucco guy slopped some of his plastic cement mix (mortar) on a pile of beautiful granite rocks I am now using to build a rock wall.
The thick pieces chip right off but i am still left with lumpy...

Make sure when you are finished with drywall and painting w/semi-gloss to run a bead of silicone caulk along the seam where the tub meets the drywall...possibly that is where the water is getting...
