Restore black toilet bowl finish?

We bought a house with a black Kohler toilet. Itís a good toilet except that the finish on the inside of the bowl looks very dull and unsightly. Maybe itís just more noticeable because itís black....

Pete....that’s interesting. We have two new air handlers and only one of them is causing a noise. I will ask my installer about replacing the EEV board. An HVAC guy on another forum suggested that.
