I got it.. there is a cover for each of the two...

I got it.. there is a cover for each of the two connections. I removed them and then used a pair of vice grips to loosen and remove the two connectors.

Thank you for the reply but the transmission lines go into the condenser..The hookup for the transmission line is not the same setup as for the a/c line.

I found out that the utility company had been working on the power lines. Resetting the main breaker did the trick.
