My bad... the "Fixed or "Variable" for the sound output is on the Cable Box Menu...not the TV.

I don't see a "Variable" option on the TV or Cable Setup Menus...

Any other ideas?

Muting TV mutes the Headphones too problem

While watching TV, if I mute the audio on the TV it mutes the sound on my headphones.
