that's what I thought.. just not sure that stuff will be on ALL the time.. (it is a 2nd home)

Either way.. it never gets cold enough in there to do any damage...i was more concerned with trapping...

I am putting a closet behind the stairs leading into my nearly finished basement.. a media closet.. amps, DVD, music mgmnt, etc.
the floor below is slab concrete and stays fairy cool...

I blindly posted sort of the same question.. it would seem that a one piece pre-fab roof would be the best way to avoid leaking as it would be seamless, but just not sure that type of roof is...

Need FLAT roof advice

Ok.. Addition to the house. roughly 1200 square feet, rectangle. Bedroom/Bath, 2 Car garage, mudroom... all above grade. The roof has to double as a deck. 100% flat.

I live in the Hudson Valley.....

Split-log bench

So, I begrudgingly felled a 61 year oak tree...a sad sad day, but it was threatening the house so..had to go.
Anyway.. I've got the bigger logs cut into 6 foot lengths and wanted to split...

Light is not a factor as I intend to frame over the space.. the lintel in this case is a steel beam that runs along the top of the foundation....
