Amazingly the pvc elbow was only 59 cents at Lowe's. Still odd that original broke so fast and the copper didn't leak yesterday. 🤔

Repairing moisture damage on exterior doors/frame

I noticed the corners were soft and so I dug in. I chiseled away all the soft wood, now what? I was planning to cut a few pieces of scrap wood and glue it to concrete, calk the gaps on the frame....

Decided to go with pro after a few snaking attempts that only helped for a few days each time. It was expensive for a 10 minute worth of work, but live and learn....

Well, the installer said they will look at it, and also agreed that there shouldn't be two 90 degree elbows. Exhaust should be straight and not shooting into the cap.
