Replace the contact switch which is mounted on top of engine. They go bad and will not send enough power to heaters. Can be purchased at NAPA.

Air lock in the heater core. Check and see if there air bleeder by the top radiator hose inlet on the block. You have to purge the air out of the cooling/heating system.
