Finally have the Trane rep coming out with the local tech next week. Maybe we will get somewhere on this problem now. Will post again after they come out and let you know if they fixed it.

I get what you are saying about the 3 degree drop. But what I seem to be seeing is that the 3+ degree drop happens when the outside unit is in defrost and the back up heat / furnace comes on....
