Howbout if I remove the floorboards for an un-leveled floor and attach new floor beams (leveled) to the old ones that are unleveled ..and then put the new floorboards ontop? then the floor should...

if its an old dryer...like real old. perhaps the sound could be coming from these things called "drum bearings" located at the front of the drum but they are in fact like teflon cushion pads/glides....

well folks! enclosing the filter housings so they are in the dark cured the problem completely. no more green flecks of what appears to have been algae. Im glad. thanks for the help.Beer 4U2
