Do you calculate automotive wiring gauge/amps the same as house wiring.

In order to keep the amount of different 220v recepticles, 30 amp and 50 amp , alike can I use a 50 amp male plug where therw is a 30 amp plug??

Which Voltage??

Lighting, motors etc in a alot of cases can be wired for either 220 v or 110 v.

Other than the convenience of 110v why would you wire for 220 v.

I am specifically now talking about halide shop...
