You got your IC (fixtures that CAN touch insulation)...
You got your NON IC (fixtures that CANNOT touch insulation)...
Then.... you got your IC / NON IC...

Just so I'm clear, when you're talking about a 20 amp circuit, you mean 20A breaker + 12g wire + 20A outlets... As opposed to 15A circuit which means 15A...
