Stackable washer and dryer

I want to put a washer dryer here. I know the outlet needs to be gfci but should I have someone lower the tap and cut down the drain so they are below the outlet?

Yes. There is another switch downstairs that controls it. For the stairwell light. Everything works yes. The building was built in 1924. So yes I was just wondering if it was ok by how it looked.
