Iridium or double platinum spark plugs for a 2002 Grand Marquis 4.6 V8?

Is there a benefit to using iridiums on this engine, or would double platinums work just as good? Mostly just interested in improving gas mileage.

Car has 130k miles, and not sure if spark plugs...
