Your looking for the problem in the wrong place. It's the tv itself or the box. How do you have your box hooked up to the tv? If your using the AV inputs then the problem is the box.

Depends on your skills if you can fix it. Problem most likely is caused by a capacitor going bad on the power supply board. You could check to see if you can replace the whole board.

Problem solved

Just decided to do it the easy and safe way. Copied C drive onto external drive. Loaded windows from scratch to larger drive and then just copied the games files to the new C drive.
Works great.
