sorry but I beg to differ. Putting a film coat on the inside of an existing "clear" IG unit can cause heat cracks or make the unit fail. If you want to add a film, do it on the outside.

given this is a blank door ( no hinge prep or anything ) I would cut down in equal portions. 1/8 both sides and 1/4 top and bottom. After it's cut, sand any rough edges, prep for locks, hinges ect....
