Have 12/2, need 12/3. Can I just run single strand of 12 AWG? For light bulb.

Have bath exhaust fan where the switch controls both at the same time. Want to split it up, so 1 switch for fan, 1 switch for light. Need 12/3 wire to do that, but I have some single strand 12 AWG......

Have a big stump that has been a bear to work on. Dug down about a foot around it, and cut all the roots I could see, and it didn't budge when I hooked my deisel van to it and yanked. Sledgehammer...

Update on this... had to remove the knobs and the panel that holds the knobs. After doing that, you can access 4 screws underneath the lip of the range top that will allow the top to be removed.
