I had the same problem once, both the new and old...

I had the same problem once, both the new and old tubs were the same lenth but the new would not fit, smacked the 2x4's with a sledge hammer 2 or 3 times and the tub fit, good luck. :)

What kind of grout did you use that holds so well? I agree with regular caulk and not silicone or grout, try Penoseal works well and cleans up easy.

They sell a kit that comes with new bolts, washers, nuts and the gasket that goes between the bowl and tank. I would try a plumbing supply. good luck
