I would like to set my system up to call me when power fails / restores. Anyone know how to do this when self monitoring? My system calls me just fine for entry alarms, etc....It used to even call...

All total, I have an overhang of about 3/4 inch...I went with the starter shingles vs. the starter roll (seemed to thin and flimsy). Looks way better than my last shed and I'm sure...

it seems to go a lot better if I stop trying to cut the post and simply score it and break it off....

I had no idea this stuff broke off at a score line so easily (using a t-bevel is a help...

I'm siding a small 8x8 shed soon with vinyl siding. Are there any drawbacks (short of some extra waste) by using whole 8' long lengths vs using cut pieces and staggering the seams?

Puting the housewrap on a shed prior to siding....Where the housewrap ends at the bottom of the OSB (it will once I trim it at least), do you tape it, or just go with the nails / staples?

It is Nailed (every foot or so with a Remington nailer) to an 8 inch thick concrete slab. Same original slab I poured 13 years ago, and it hasn't even cracked yet....
