Referring back to 1st photo... Red wire to box ground 120V White wires to box ground 120v.

Checked black wires across switch 28v and when each black is checked to ground get crazy readings...

Everything else in the house works as it should. I used a multimeter for the checks. The junction box is in an awkward locaion. I'm going down to check again now.

Dburr9 I think the flow rate for 3/4 inch copper is 4.9gpm. That's much less than 1". May affect recovery time. The more I think about it...
