No, the main is a 100 amp throw switch with the main wire going through conduit to the bottom of the panel where it's connected. That's where I was going to tap it from but I guess that's a bad idea.

it say that the width of the unit is 14 5/8 inches and then it says minimum opening (width) 15 1/2 inches. I can't figure it out. 14 5/8 will be a tight fit but it'll work and if I do need 15 1/2...
