Let me guess you have a 3.8L engine. Sounds like you got a bad crank shaft sensor. Most of the time it will not produce a trouble code on pre 96 vehicles. Hope this helps. Good Luck. MIKE

Sounds like it may be the crankshaft position sensor. Not that uncommon of a problem on the 3.8L. Usually will not produce a trouble code. Good luck
