I'm not sure what Trex is but I would use a foam backer since the gap is so wide. Then I would put in the self leveling caulk from HD in the concrete department. Lowes probably has a similar product...

It may be that the spout and the faucets are all one piece or maybe the spout screws into the side of the faucets. Either way, they all need to come out as a unit. All IMHO. I'm not a plumber.
