It's input is 110 V ac & runs a DC motor, no transformer or anything but what is in the pic. Would that mean its 110V DC?
I'm wondering if its safe to use a voltmeter on the motor terminals.

The small screws I'm looking at have a small globe of clear glue holding them in place so they wont undo, The glue has small air bubbles in it.

You can easily chip away at it with a screw driver...
