Maytag washer will not spin or agitage. I can set the dial and when I shut the top lid - it hums like it is trying to start. Wife said when it first did it she smelled a electrical burn smell??

abestos in 1985 built home - sheet lino?

started ripping up some old lino in a bathroom. the top vinyl layer came of easily but left paper/glue down.

Got on the forum here to see if there was any tips on removing the old glue/paper...
