Is there some kind of swithing or something on the board that would keep the unit from working... turning blower on, etc.

Called out a HVAC guy... he checked everything out & the furnace is still basically dead... he was as puzzled as I am.

We chk'd all sensors, switches, xformer, etc. & all are good.

Nothing left...

I will chk again tonight... I was thinking the 24V was DC & had the meter set wrong. I am looking at a pic of the transformer here at work & it actually shows 24VAC....!!!

I double checked the transformer from com to 24v... sometimes is shows a -26v and sometimes is shows 2v...

I assume that this is bad... could someone pls confirm what I am seeing is actually a bad...

I chk'd the xformer. It showed 120V as you had noted, but the 24V spade I checked showed 0V....

I assume now that my xformer is bad? Would that cause my condition in that nothing comes on... no...

The outside temps are generally in the mid to low 30's. I think you might be right on, as the temp gets into the 40s, it seems like the unit will shut off more easily.
