Height difference is not much 1/2 maybe 1/4

I've been installing flooring and left a 1/2" gap by the exterior door. However, after I thought maybe the metal trim was supposed to cover it.

I have around 3.2 rows left and can't cut a sliver for the final row since it would be way too thin.

Best way to support this piping

Currently I have this unsupported PEX pipe in a cupboard. Not the worst setup but I'm conscious that the pipes could get pulled and maybe need support.

It's possible I somehow touched the metal on the switch but wouldn't that just register a voltage rather than a spark?
if you touch a black and then ground you get 120V normally.

from what I can find the toilet outlet is 2-1/8" so much smaller anyway. The flange would reduce the pipe to 2-3/4" or so and...
