Question Blocking needlepoint

Having finally completed a large (18" x 24") needlepoint it's time to have it blocked so I can frame it. What's the best way to do this? Someone suggested having it dry cleaned and having them block it. Has anyone had a dry cleaner do this for them?
Help anyone? Thanks

If you frequent a local needlework shop, many provide blocking and framing services. Not all drycleaners offer cleaning and blocking services of needlework. A stop by your local needlework shop for a professional assessment of the squareness as well as cleanliness of your work may be needed.

Here are some tips for DIY blocking: http://www.netcomuk.co.uk/~rtusler/s.../blocking.html
