Not familiar with your sewing machine, but if it's pretty basic, when you turn the wheel, is the bobbin case turning and rotating?

Also, did this just happen or is this a new sewing machine?

I was sewing and the needle broke then I put it away the next time I tried to sew the thread wouldnt come up. Its not a new machine but I bought it new several years ago and Im not the everyday sewing person.

Try re-threading and make sure the bobbin is clean from lint. Since you've sewn before, I'm sure you know how everything goes. Trying taking a scrap piece of cloth and sew...see if it will bring it up.

Also, check the needle...could it be in backwards? Make sure it's not too high.

Another thing...it's good to use the same type thread that's in the needle and bobbin.

Not familiar with your machine, but some machines will bring up the thread automatically and with others, you need to hold the bobbin thread and the needle thread out to the front, together, then turn the needle manually to bring it up. Maybe this is the case?

Ive tried replacing needle with all different sizes and made sure its threaded properly and used different threads (then hit it just cause a few times) none worked. Super frustrated.

Pulling long piece of thread up and out

Please please dont quote me on this but I thought you were supposed to pull a piece of thread up and out of the bobbin area before attempting to sew a long piece through the hole below the needle your supposed to aren't you? Then you attempt to start sewing and this is what I did. I have a brother too and half works Im finding this even more bizarre I owned singer before. If I push the petal I can thread a bobbin at the top right you know what I mean. But it wont sew at all the light is on though.Beer 4U2 I am pretty sure this is what you must do after threading the bobbin you put the bobbin into the machine and you must have a pretty long piece of thread that piece that you catch on the bobbin you pull this piece up into the air a very long piece it has to be then you can put the medal piece or cover back over the bobbin compartment of the machine making sure that the thread is longgggg. Because when you begin to sew your needle will become unthread you will be sewing without any thread it is going to pull some 6 inches and some more thread into the bobbin area .................see? Make sure the thread is long after inserting the bobbin into the machine do not leave a little tinie piece of thread hanging off the bobbin, then try to close the area and try to sew it will not work its easy dont try to make it complex thats what I did it really is not, but it is. It is complex and I didnt major in physics and it took me awhile in homeeconomics class to get this. And engineers calculate air particles claiming they can see them under a microscope see what I mean?Beer 4U2

If you do not pull the thread out of the bobbin compartment long enough I mean long the machine will not sewBeer 4U2
