Bobbin Help

hi! im having a problem threading my bobbin...i have a singer built into a desk which was given to me and the bobbin is is built in. how do you thread it? i broke 4 needles already. is there a video someone can give me a website too?

I have never heard of a machine with a built in bobbin. Are you sure you're not looking at the bobbin case which is missing the bobbin? Actually, the case comes out too, so maybe the whole mechanism is missing?
Do you know the model # and type? All machines are different and it helps to know exactly which one you're talking about.

hi! maybe i worded it wrong..not built in..but its all there. its the automatic kind. the needle is supposed to thread it as if ur sewing. not sure of the model # but i will get it. is there a video online where is shows how to do it? i also have a kenmore brand new and the bobbin is different and easier. thats why im confused...thanks btw its an old singer in a desk..maybe 1960s

OK, this site (copy and paste the link below) has threading diagrams which may help. The Touch and Sews were popular in the 60's so maybe that's what you have. If you don't see your model # in the list, click on the 600, 620 and 626 for starters to see if it looks like yours. Actually, if they're the horizontal bobbins which lay flat, they're all pretty similar so any of the diagrams should help. I don't know of a video and if there is one, you'd probably find it for sale on Ebay but doubt if it would be available free, online.
