brother 6000i

what do you think of this sewing machine. ????I need to sew strong fabrics sometimes. But I
dont mnd going slow. I am a beginner.

It's a light weight, not designed for heavy duty or industrial type sewing. What problem are you having with it?

I only own industrials or old metal, mechanical home machines.
These new plastic machines you find at department stores are pretty much junk, imo.
I think a Ffaff or Juki (home model) are probably the best models on the market today if you have the budget for them.
An old all metal mechanical would be ideal. You can find old Kenmore's pretty inexpensive on Craigslist.
That one you're asking about will only give you grief.

In sewing point of view, i just like Singer Sewing Machine brand. Singer has many beginner level sewing machines like 23-stich 2263 model, 7528 sewing machine etc.
