old hardwood floors
We are moving into a 1908 Craftsman style home with hardwood floors that seem in good condition overall but with a somewhat washed-out or dull surface finish.
We wanted to clean the floors and possibly add a new, brighter finish.
After using the 1/2 cup vinegar to 1 gallon water cleaning solution, is there anything else we should consider to remove the prior finish without removing the stain?

"After using the 1/2 cup vinegar to 1 gallon water cleaning solution" could be the reason for the "washed-out or dull surface finish." You could call in a professional and ask their opinions on a screen and coat.
