Question Hard wood Floors

What is the best way to install a plank floor at an angle? (45 degrees to the wall)

Thanks Hardwood Guy!!! That is exactly what I was looking for. It does however, raise another, possibly foolish question; ie, when the spline is placed into the groove, is it nailed into place, or is it left "floating"?
