polyurethanes

Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good clear, high gloss polyurethane for pine floors?

Do different brands differ in a way that two floors made of the same material will look noticeably different? I had one set of floors done by a professional, and I'm not sure what brand of poly they used.

I am just about to apply finish to a floor that I refinished myself, and I don't want them to look completely different.

Thanks!

poly

My suggestion is to call the pro you had come in to do the other floors and ask him what kind of finish he used. Finishes vary widely as far as the solid content, ambering effects dry time etc. What you by off the shelf is good but the stuff the pros get is mixed differently, some are easier to work with others are harder. Call your pro . If they are a good company they will help. Maybe even sell you the poly so your getting a good match.
